Everything but a Pleasing Face

It’s apparent from first glance that James Bond’s DB10 was a precursor to the new Vantage. The volumes and shapes are the same, but have been refined and revised for the production car.
They are not the only revisions. The AMG-built 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, which produces 503 hp at 6,000 rpm and 505 lb.-ft. of torque from 2,000 to 5,000 rpm, is set as low and far back in a chassis that shares just 30% of its pieces with the latest bonded aluminum spaceframe introduced on the DB11. Weight distribution is a perfect 50:50, the center of gravity is lower than in the DB11, and curb weight is 3,373 lb.
