Cars In Context TV, Episode 3
Friday, January 25, 2013 at 12:00AM By Christopher A. Sawyer
Once again The Virtual Driver’s editor has appeared on Cars In Context Television with host John Clor to tape the third episode of the show. (Actually, John and I shot this episode the same day as the first, changing shirts between takes. A later episode was inserted between this one and the first so 1) it didn’t look like there would only ever be one guest, and because 2) there’s only so much of me people can take.) Like the inaugural episode, it follows the News/Main Topic/Pride in My Ride/Letters format.
The main topic this time around was the increase in the ethanol content of fuel and what changes this might cause to your vehicles, the environment, food stocks and water use. Even though the topic is a serious one, don’t expect it to be all doom and gloom. Clor and I shoot barbs back and forth at companies, governments and each other, much as we did when we shared floor space in out time at AutoWeek magazine. Enjoy the insanity, and remember: This is how Rachel Ray got her start in television.
